Gift Subscription FAQs

How much spice will my recipient get?

We offer three different subscription plans which include 12, 24, or 36 total spice servings divided evenly across three spice blends per delivery. One serving is 1/4 tsp.

  • Sampler: 12 servings or 3 tsp
  • Standard (Most Popular): 24 servings or 6 tsp
  • Deluxe: 36 servings or 9 tsp

If you can't decide which plan is best, we recommend our Standard Plan. This is by far the most popular plan for gift purchases.

Do gift subscriptions cancel automatically?

Yes, if you purchase a 6- or 12-month gift subscription, these subscriptions will cancel automatically at the end of their duration. These gift subscriptions are prepaid upfront and do not renew.

Note: You have the option of selecting "Renew annually until I cancel" as your duration. This option is available if you'd like to gift a subscription for longer than one year. Unlike the 6- and 12-month options, this option will renew annually until you cancel.

At checkout, should I enter my info or my recipient's?

  • Use YOUR email address so we can send you a printable gift certificate, plus your order confirmation.
  • Use your RECIPIENT'S shipping address so their spice deliveries go straight to them.

That’s it! You’ll get the certificate right away to give on your timeline, and we’ll take care of the monthly deliveries.

When will my recipient receive their deliveries?

We ship all gift subscriptions at the end of each month, and they usually arrive within 3–7 business days — right around the start of the following month. So if you order today, your recipient’s first delivery will arrive early next month.

Need something to give sooner? No problem — you’ll instantly get a printable gift certificate you can give right away, either in person or by email.

I need a gift for a certain date. I don't want it to arrive early and spoil the surprise. What should I do?

No problem! When you buy a gift subscription, we’ll instantly email you a printable gift certificate that you can give on the special day.

By default, the first spice delivery ships at the end of the month and arrives at the start of the following month. If your gift date is after that, just enter your own shipping address at checkout. That way, you’ll get the first delivery and can give it to your recipient (with the certificate) whenever the time is right.

I need a gift ASAP. What should I do?

We’ve got you! Right after you order, we’ll email you a printable gift certificate you can give right away — print it and wrap it up, email it to your recipient, whatever you like. The first delivery ships at the end of the month and arrives at the start of the next.

What if my recipient moves or changes their address?

No problem! If your recipient moves or change your address for any other reason, the subscription's shipping address can easily be changed by going to the Manage Subscription page. The address will change for all upcoming monthly shipments that have not yet been processed.

Where does Savor Spice Club ship?

Savor Spice Club ships to all 50 states in the USA. At this time, our spice of the month club is only available within the United States.

How do you donate a meal with every delivery?

We donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to Feeding America® with every delivery. Feeding America® states that every $1 donated provides 10 meals to people struggling with food insecurity, so for every monthly delivery, we donate $0.10 to Feeding America®. This applies to all monthly and annual plans as well as gift subscriptions.

We believe in transparency in our social mission. Our donations are managed and tracked by Give & Grow Donations, a third-party provider that automatically deducts and donates $0.10 from every monthly subscription plan payment and the equivalent of $0.10 per month for every annual plan payment and gift subscription purchase. Savor Spice Club is also an official member of Pledge 1%, and through our support of Feeding America®, we significantly exceed our pledge to donate at least 1% of profits to social good.
